Welcome to The Green Egg Blog, where we talk about Pagan life as it is actually lived: sometimes sacred, sometimes ridiculous, occasionally profound, and very often not nearly as dignified as the books make it sound.
Here you’ll find observations on Pagan culture, witchcraft, magical practice, community, changing times, and the wonderfully strange business of being a Pagan human in the real world. Some weeks we’ll wander into deeper territory. Other weeks we may wonder who put all the rules in witchcraft, whether every uncomfortable emotion really requires shadow work, or why a perfectly sensible adult cannot walk past a particularly good rock without picking it up.
The Green Egg Blog is written by Katrina Rasbold, author, priestess, witch, and longtime practitioner of the magical arts. New posts appear weekly, with an emphasis on authenticity, curiosity, humor, and the occasional serious thought that sneaks in while nobody is looking.
There may also be rocks, herbs, strange bottles, and an oracle card here and there.
