This week I asked the forum this question: “What do you like or enjoy about being Pagan and the Pagan community in general?”
I truly enjoyed the response and this week I am just going to let the responses speak for themselves.
“I enjoy feeling that energetic connection with everything and everyone. Going out, one immediately recognizes those who are kindred.”
“Being pagan and part of the pagan Community makes me happy. I feel connected to others. I get a sense of joy from witchy and pagan activities, aesthetics and just about everything.”
“It’s a family thing.”
“Often messy but also wonderful”
“So much of my Paganism is relationships and giving thanks. Both are proven to increase happiness.”
“It was and is important to me that I never needed to leave my mind at the door. Questioning and experiencing for myself the power of my path. Not power over others, power with them.”
“The energy. The freedom and the acceptance of one another. Recognizing everyone has their own path and respecting that. The sound of drumming and chanting. Sound baths. The understanding of how energy really works.”
“Incense and fire circles. Rituals.”
“I have been in love with the Pagan community, I love how it brings awe and wonder, and how it all fits together. I have been living it for more than 30 years…and I still am engaged.”
